🔗 Share this article I cannot rely on a three-year period at Manchester United - the United boss United's manager - here being consoled after May's European final loss - notes he is satisfied by the investor's extended support but stressed that the future is unpredictable in the sport. Manchester United head coach the Portuguese coach thinks it is important Sir Jim Ratcliffe went public with his extended perspective - but notes nothing is assured about tomorrow in football, much less three full years. During a discussion with a major publication last week, Ratcliffe mentioned it may need the manager a three-year period to produce meaningful results at Old Trafford. Arriving during a time when the manager's position has been receiving close inspection in the wake of a lengthy stretch of disappointing results, the words contributed to reducing certain present tensions. Yet, discussing prior to the hundredth encounter with traditional foes Liverpool at Anfield, Amorim stressed that what comes next is challenging to anticipate in the beautiful game. "It's certainly beneficial to receive that message but he communicates to me constantly, sometimes with a message post fixtures - but understand, I realize and Ratcliffe understands, that the sport isn't that predictable," he said. "The vital factor is the following fixture. Even with owners, you cannot control the future in the sport." Top executive Berrada has admitted it has taken significantly extended periods for the head coach to acclimate to the top division following his move from his former club during the winter than anybody anticipated. United have won 10 successes in 34 Premier League matches under the 40-year-old. They are yet to win consecutive league victories and haven't finished a round of league games this season better than ninth place. The worrying figures are testing faith in the head coach among the Red Devils supporters approaching a run of games the side has performed poorly in for the last couple of years. The manager stated he does not feel the doubt inside the club at the club's Carrington training ground and is insistent nothing compares to the stress he applies to the squad - and in certain ways, he would choose Ratcliffe to refrain from seeking to bring a sense of calm because he is concerned about the influence it may create on the team. "It isn't merely an item of conversation, I experience it every day," he remarked. "It's certainly beneficial to hear it because it helps our fans to understand the management realize it needs a while. "Yet concurrently, I dislike it because it creates an impression that we possess time to solve problems. I don't desire that sense in our organization. "The stress I apply to the players or upon myself is so much bigger [than that from outside]. In the sport, specifically at large organizations, you must demonstrate yourself every matchday."
